MEET THE HONIST SOLUTIONS FOUNDER
At that point in my career I had only ever dreamed of launching my own business and serving clients the way I wanted to serve them.
But now the opportunity was here and knocking, so I took the leap and sent them my first proposal.
Talk about a huge adrenaline rush when I got back a YES! I may or may not have started blasting the song “Bird Set Free” by Sia the moment I found out.
Now that I had my own first client, I had to give up my 9-5 job as a Senior Network Administrator.
Handing in my resignation letter was hard. After all, this was a company that was there for me when my mom passed and later even threw my wife and I a surprise wedding shower with the staff! (Who does that?!)
But what happened next was way beyond what I expected. My now-former employer agreed to become my second client!
With that success I knew it was time to grow.
But how? Sales wasn’t my thing.
Luckily I crossed paths with an incredible sales coach, John Whitehall, who became my mentor and friend. With his mentorship, I was able to manage six clients and hire my first employee who helped me to double in size!
Fast forward to today, seven years on from the birth of HonIsT Solutions, we are now a team of people serving businesses in Pennsylvania, Florida, Chicago, Texas, Colorado, Maryland, and Minnesota. I'm grateful for our clients' trust and for having a supportive network of friends in my personal and business life.

Brief Personal History:
As a Berks County native and Oley Valley High School graduate, I began my journey in the IT field at Berks Career & Technology Center, earning programming certificates. Later, I obtained an Associate's degree in Applied Sciences for Internet/Network Engineering from Berks Technical Institute. Today, I reside in the Governor Mifflin school district with my wife and daughter.
Brief Professional History:
My initial foray into IT support began while working as a line cook at a restaurant and studying at Berks Technical Institute. This experience taught me the importance of understanding the business world and expanding my IT skill set. Simultaneously, I participated in an IT work-study program, assisting the director of IT at Berks Technical Institute.
After completing my education, I spent six years at a small IT support consulting company in Pennsylvania, honing my skills and gaining valuable insights into the needs of small and medium-sized businesses. Later, I joined an international company as their Senior Network Engineer. However, when previous clients approached me to serve them again, I knew it was time to launch the business I'd always dreamt of – HonIsT Solutions, which was founded in the summer of 2017.
Since then, we have been proudly serving businesses in Pennsylvania and beyond, and I am deeply grateful for the trust our clients place in HonIsT Solutions.

I live out in the country and enjoy spending time outdoors and working around the property with my family.

I got into computers as a hobby after being laid off from the HVAC industry after the attacks of 9/11. In 2003 I joined a software company which allowed me to rapidly expand my knowledge and experience. I’ve done IT work for school districts, car dealerships, automotive repair shops, lawyers, real estate brokerages, and home users.

• 20 years of working with Windows OS
• 15+ years of working with Linux
• 10+ years of working with VMware
• Automation is key so, if it can be scripted, I try to do so.

Originally from Chicago, I have lived across the United States and now call Pike County home, along with my family and our dog, Indy. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, playing video games, attending concerts, and kayaking or rafting on the Delaware River.

My IT career began in mobile phone repairs, fueled by a love for learning new technologies and solving problems. Recognizing the significant impact technology has on businesses, I've spent the last six years as a Systems Engineer in corporate and medical environments in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. My diverse background equips me to offer unique perspectives and solutions to our clients.
